Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DocuHealth platform operated by DocuHealth (Pty) Ltd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

DocuHealth provides a cloud-based healthcare management platform including electronic medical records, billing, scheduling, claims and related modules. We may update, add or retire features over time with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, for activity under your account, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws — including health information protection laws in the jurisdictions where you operate.

Paid plans are billed as described at sign-up. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may upgrade at any time; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the software, or use the service to violate the rights of others.

You retain ownership of your data. We process your data on your behalf to provide the service, and our processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and any applicable Data Processing Agreement.

The DocuHealth software, documentation and trademarks are owned by DocuHealth (Pty) Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, you may export your data during a reasonable notice period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.
